progressivebiscuits Those who long for the real prog sound of the 70s could do a lot worse than listen to the work of Czyszy, in particular this album. It is pure 70s symphonic prog with multi-part epics, lush melodies, classical influences and frequently-changing time signitures. Highly recommended Favorite track: Nostalgia Demise.

As the morning came by the sea Fish swam past the hilltop so hard to see I began to feel way more free Under this rusty dome Catching every sign Telling me who stands beside me I could live just fine Albeit feeling tiny So the clocks will fall to the floor By the time the watchmaker's up no more And when things get sleazy and sore High as the rusty dome Clockwork bridges burn Minefields crackle by the starsets I'll just live and learn And watch white turn to scarlet Flashing lights Of which kings decide Snatching tribes Undersynthesized Through the silver pane Lies a mindless game Twilight Diapason

Gotta carry on Better get things done Cause there's no point in running I've been asinine Easily begrimed And as a pawn, I've nothing Dusty dreams, acid rain Nostalgia gleaming by Gusty wind, tingling shame Like sawdust in one's eye Why to Spend most of your time alone? Why not Choose to be thrilled to the bone? The coastline's far and wide No reason to stay shied Away from the day Abide the fray Don't' hide your way Why to Sleep on chances you might take? You've got The will to keep yourself awake Despite there being many precious moments missed in time Nothing compares to all those times you felt your bliss decline Why to Spend most of your time alone? Now that Trenchcoat mob wants your dream gone? I used to be an eagle flying high above the ground Lost in peace and always music-bound I used to be a knight but now those days are long long gone How can I survive this morning dawn? Despite there being many precious moments missed in time Nothing compares to all those times I felt my bliss decline Gotta carry on Better get things done Cause there's no point in running I've been asinine Easily begrimed And as a pawn, I've nothing And after all This is my memories' final call My bell will toll This fall While it's quite a shame And it's all the same For moments lost I'm longing Dreaming of a song Which is halfway gone For joy and love I'm longing And whichever ground Turns the cards around It's all really stunning Gotta carry on Better get things done Cause there's no point in running

about

I'm back with my fourth prog rock LP. The music on this album is inspired by textures found on obscure late 70s and 90s revival symphonic prog gems. As usual, loads of synth arps and runs, mellotronish pads, odd meters, lush arrangements etc.
